Sustainability Mandala
The guiding principles and strategies are directed by the principles of the "Sustainability Mandala", which considers the four fields (environment, social, economic and institutions) in a balanced manner. In accordance to the nature of this programme the entrance door into the "Sustainability Mandala" is the field of Environment of all the Building Materials that will be developed and promoted for cleaner Building Technology.
This Sustainability Mandala Guiding Principles also contributes to equity through the improvement of social conditions of workers, the involvement of small and medium entrepreneurs. A strict business approach is applied for economical sustainability. The project supports institutions to provide an enabling framework and to anchor the skill and know-how at local level.
