During his 25 years of working experience for development projects he specialized on practical civil engineering quality assurance, training / capacity building, energy efficient building material production, earthquake save building designs and practices, rural water supply and sanitation and small-scale entrepreneurship development.

His continuing involvement in the energy efficient building material production and technologies sector, especially for the development and dissemination of the VSBK technology over the last decade, establishes him as one of the leading VSBK technology expert globally.
