
Shashank Pandey has finished his Master's degree in Environmental Science with specialization in Pollution Management from Kathmandu University. He is currently working as a Programme Environmentalist in VSBK/CESEF project. His past experience of nearly three years associates him with water and sanitation projects in underdeveloped communities of Nepal, along with studies in air pollution issues.
Mr. Pandey's major responsibility is to work on issues of climate change and build up VSBK technology in CDM process for carbon money. Further responsibilities include calculating total CO2 emission/energy consumption by VSBK kilns and Cost Effective Social Environmental Friendly Building Technology (CESEF) to evaluate its primary reduction in greenhouse gases. Other responsibilities comprises of supporting the ongoing social action at the VSBK kilns and Cost Effective Social Environmental Friendly Building Technology (CESEF) units to provide adequate clean drinking water and proper sanitation for the workforce.
